Michael J. Uccellini, CPM®, COS®
CEO / Principal
As President and CEO, Michael Uccellini oversees a full service real estate company specializing in the development, finance, construction, acquisition and management of real estate. He has spearheaded over $1 billion in real estate development, acquisitions and financing transactions. Currently, Mr. Uccellini is directing the development, construction and financing of $350 million in senior, student, multifamily, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Chief Operating Officer / Principal
AS COO, Jeff has direct responsibility and oversight of the management and marketing divisions. He provides best practices and direction of operations across all of the property management portfolios, including student, senior and multifamily housing, commercial and mixed use. Jeff leads a team of over 125 employees and is passionate about their and United’s success. Jeff brings to United over 20 years experience in all facets of property management.
Tim S. Quinn
Chief Financial Officer / Principal
With more than 20 years of experience in accounting management, Timothy S. Quinn oversees the accounting operations and information systems for United Group and its affiliates. This includes UPPM’s residential real estate portfolio, comprised of multi-family, student, senior, and government-assisted apartment home communities, as well as its commercial portfolio containing Class-A office space and diverse mixed use facilities.
VP, Human Resources
Joan Cavanaugh is a twenty-six year veteran of human resource management. Twelve of those years have been as the leader of UPPM’s Human Resources Division for over 200 employees. Joan’s expertise includes managing recruitment, talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership and employee development, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, change management, compensation and benefits administration.
As Regional Manager, Michael DiGiacomo oversees the management and operations for UPPM’s student housing portfolio consisting of 2,000+ beds and two senior housing properties containing 261 apartments. Mike manages a team of over 25 staff members and also has responsibilities for two local commercial properties.
In her capacity with UPPM, Jacqueline Shafer oversees 50+ staff members and parts of the company’s multi-family and senior housing portfolios, including more than a dozen housing communities. Her responsibilities include all operations as well as compliance with federal and state guidelines, maintenance, capital improvements, fiscal management, and work plan strategy and implementation.
